As of 2024, as part of the Consepsys certification programme, certified individuals are entitled to use designatory letters after their name, as follows:

Who can use Consepsys Certification Designatory Letters?
Consepsys Certification Designatory Letters are Consepsys copyright. They can be used only if permission has been explicitly granted by Consepsys
Only the following individuals can use the designatory letters - Only individuals who have:
o Taken a certification examination with Consepsys
o AND Obtained a pass mark at the Consepsys certification examination
o AND Received:
§ An Examination Pass Certificate from Consepsys
§ AND a Certification and Category Confirmation Letter (CACCL) from Consepsys
Certified individuals appear on the Consepsys International Certification Register (CiCr).
The validity of certifications can be verified by anyone who requests it (privacy policy measures apply).

Individuals, entities or organisations which use the Consepsys certification designatory letters without the explicit authorisation of Consepsys infringe copyright laws and can be prosecuted by Consepsys.

Individuals who have achieved both levels of certification, that is:
1. DCC - Certified Document Controller - category Practitioner
2. DCM - Certified Lead Document Controller - category Lead
need to display designatory letters only for the higher category, that is CDoC© LCiCr
